At Invisible Illnesses Inc., we understand that maintaining a clean and tidy home can be challenging, especially for those with sore joints, age-related issues, or ill health. Our cleaning services are designed to provide a helping hand, ensuring your home remains a comfortable and inviting space.

Our dedicated team of volunteers, all of whom have been vetted and hold current police clearances, are committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services at affordable rates. By utilising volunteers, we can keep our fees low, making our services accessible to those who need them most.

We offer a range of cleaning services tailored to meet your needs:

General Clean: $30/hour minimum 2 hours

Our General Clean service covers all the essential cleaning tasks to keep your home looking its best. This includes:

• Floors: Sweeping, Vacuuming, and Mopping

• Bedrooms: Wiping over furniture and vacuuming

• Bathrooms: Wiping over sinks and cupboards, cleaning the bath and shower, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying bins, Wipe down the mirror with a cloth and glass cleaner.

• Toilets: Cleaning the bowl, wiping over the toilet, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying bins

• Kitchen: Wiping over cupboards and benchtops, cleaning the sink, cleaning the stovetop and oven door, wiping over the fridge door, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying bins

• Living Spaces: Basic tidying, fluffing cushions, wiping over furniture, sweeping/vacuuming/mopping floors
   

Inspection Clean:  +$250

For a more thorough clean, our Inspection Clean service includes all General Clean tasks plus additional detailed cleaning:

• Detailed Cleaning of All Surfaces: Including skirting boards, light switches

• Bathroom and Kitchen Deep Cleaning: Scrubbing tiles and grout to remove as much soap scum and mould as possible, clean shower recesses and baths, damp wipe over countertops and cupboard doors

• Bedroom and Living Spaces Cleaning: Dusting and damp wipe furniture, vacuuming carpets and rugs, cleaning windows and windowsills

• Removing cobwebs, cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces, cleaning doors and door frames

• Spot cleaning marks on doors and walls.

• Remove debris from the countertops and wash them with a damp microfiber cloth and an all-purpose cleaner.

• Scrub the inside and outside of the microwave and other small appliances
   

Add-on Services:

To further customise your cleaning experience, we offer various add-on services. Our add-on services are on top of our basic clean. These services include:
 

Deep Clean +$500
Our Deep Clean service is ideal for those who need a comprehensive cleaning. This includes:

• Spot Cleaning Walls and Doors: Removing marks and fingerprints

• Window Tracks: Thorough cleaning of window tracks to remove dust and debris

• Bedrooms: Detailed cleaning, including putting away toys and other items

• Floors: Extra attention to all flooring surfaces

• Kitchen: Cleaning inside cabinets and cupboards, appliance cleaning

• Bathrooms: Extra scrubbing and sanitising of all surfaces

• Laundry: Damp wipe over washing machine and dryer, cleaning sink, wipe over cabinets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning dryer lint vent, wipe over taps.

• Removing cobwebs

• Tidying Up: Organising living spaces, decluttering, and putting items back in their place

• Dusting knick-knacks, including picture frames, shelves

• Damp Wiping over TV & computer screens

• Organising living spaces, decluttering, and putting items back in their place

• Moving furniture to clean behind

• Vacuuming under beds

• Doing dishes or loading dishwasher

• Remove debris from the countertops and wash them with a damp microfiber cloth and an all-purpose cleaner.

• Scrub the inside and outside of the microwave and other small appliances

• Remove the shower curtain and wash

• Use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to disinfect remotes, game controllers, and similar small electronics.

• Damp wipe light fixtures or ceiling fans and vents

• Remove everything from the dining table and wipe it down with a damp microfiber cloth.

• Wipe down the legs or pedestals of the table.

• Damp-wipe the dining chairs from top to bottom, including between slats and other tight spots.

• Clean kitchen rangehood

Housekeeping  +$200
In addition to our basic clean, we offer housekeeping tasks to help maintain your home. This includes:

• Changing Bedding: Replacing bed linens and making beds

• Folding Laundry: Folding clean clothes ready to be put away

• Tidying Up: Organising living spaces, decluttering, and putting items back in their place

• Dusting knick-knacks, including picture frames, shelves

• Wiping over TV

• Doing dishes or loading dishwasher

• Remove debris from the countertops and wash them with a damp microfiber cloth and an all-purpose cleaner.

• Scrub the inside and outside of the microwave and other small appliances

 

Other services:

• Cleaning Interior Windows  $60

• Additional Rooms – Study, extra toilet, activity room  $20/room

• Oven Cleaning $60

• One Load of Laundry $10/load

• One standard Basket of Folding  $20/basket

• Cleaning Inside the Fridge, includes checking expiry dates $30

• Cleaning Inside Cabinets, includes checking expiry dates $35
   

We strive to work around your schedule but please note that our availability is dependent on our volunteers. Our minimum booking time is 2 hours at $30/hour, allowing our cleaners to prioritise your cleaning needs within the allotted time.
