We run a variety of events for those who live with, or are impacted by, invisible illnesses – as well as fundraising events throughout the year.

With the COVID social distancing in place, our seats are limited so you will NEED TO REGISTER your attendance. If you turn up on the day and haven’t registered you may get turned away if we’ve hit capacity and that’s the last thing we want to do plus it also helps with catering

Pain Management Workshop

An 11 session workshop that teaches new skills that you can use to help manage chronic pain that will complement your medical treatment.

About this event

With practice, you will use these techniques to help reduce pain and increase your ability to cope.

This program helps you to take control of your pain, which can improve the quality of your life as well as decrease your reliance on medical interventions.

  • Theories of Pain and Diaphragmatic Breathing
  • Progressive Muscle relaxation and Visual Imagery
  • Automatic Thoughts and Pain
  • Cognitive Restructuring
  • Stress Management
  • Time-Based Pacing
  • Pleasant Activity Scheduling
  • Anger Management
  • Sleep Hygiene
  • Relapse Prevention and Flare-up Planning
