Time Commitment:

  • This is an on-call volunteer position, with flexible scheduling. Volunteers can choose the days and times that suit them best.  A minimum of 2 hours will be required for gardening.

Working in the Garden

We are seeking enthusiastic Volunteer Gardeners to help our clients maintain their gardens. This role involves providing general garden maintenance to ensure our clients' gardens are neat, tidy, and flourishing.

​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lawn Mowing: Keep lawns neat and tidy.

  • Edging: Give gardens a perfect, finished look.

  • Weeding: Remove weeds or dead plants to maintain clean garden beds.

  • Leaf and Debris Removal: Rake up fallen leaves and clear away debris.

  • Pathway Cleaning: Sweep or blow pathways, driveways, and patios.

  • Deadheading: Deadhead flowering plants such as roses and annuals to encourage them to bloom again.
