There are a number of mental health support resources available if you need help now. 

The Parent and Family Drug Support Line is a confidential, non-judgemental telephone counseling, information and referral service for anyone concerned about a loved one’s alcohol or drug use. Callers have the option to speak to an experienced parent volunteer.

Carers Counselling Line provides short-term counselling and emotional and psychological support services for carers and their families. Carers WA assist people who provide unpaid care and support to family members or friends who have disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issue or who are frail aged. PANDA – Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia operates Australia’s only National Helpline for individuals and their families to recover from perinatal anxiety and depression, a serious illness that affects up to one in five expecting or new mums or one in ten expecting or new dads. PANDA supports women, men and families across Australia.
Telephone and online support, information and referral service for men with family and relationships concerns. The qualified counsellors at MensLine specialise in family and relationship issues, including relationship breakdown, separation and divorce, parenting, family violence, suicide prevention and emotional well-being.
Rural link is an after-hours mental health telephone service for people in rural communities of Western Australia. Phone: 1800 552 002 Available: 4.30pm-8:30am Monday to Friday. 24 hours Saturday and Sunday and public holidays.
For anyone involved in a mental health emergency in the community – including individuals, families/carers, members of the general public or health professionals. The Suicide Prevention Public Education Program’s Think Mental Health Campaign is a key initiative of the State-wide suicide prevention strategy, Suicide Prevention 2020: Together we can save lives (the Strategy), under Action Area One – Greater public awareness and united action across the community. The Think Mental Health education campaign is part of a comprehensive approach in Western Australia that aims to build mental health and wellbeing and reduce mental health issues with view to reducing Western Australia’s suicide rate. It supports other initiatives to prevent and reduce suicide in Western Australia. The Think Mental Health education campaign’s focus is on assisting the Western Australian community to connect with the best information, support and services for their particular situation, without duplicating the good work already being done. The Think Mental Health website is one of a number of campaign strategies being delivered. Its primary focus is to provide information on how to maintain mental health and wellbeing, provide information on what you can do when things aren’t going so well and where to get help when it is needed.
The Australian Government has launched a range of new supports and services through Carer Gateway. Carers can currently access new dedicated services including counselling, online coaching and skills courses via the Carer Gateway website.  Carer Gateway can also help to navigate the various services and supports for carers available through government and non-government providers. MindSpot is a free service for Australian adults who are experiencing difficulties with anxiety, stress, depression and low mood. We provide assessment and treatment courses, or we can help you find local services that can help.
